I create because it is my purpose and deepest need to make sense of everything I experience, feel, and see in the world around me.

My favorite medium is contemporary mosaic art. I’m drawn to working with stained glass and ceramic pieces, using them to tell stories drawn from my immediate experiences and inspirations. The process feels inevitable—my mind has always loved collecting fragments and reassembling them into something whole. I love using bold colors, shimmering reflections in mirror and the rich complexity of patterns and textures that bring each piece to life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the everyday—particularly in nature and human existence within nature. Much of my work functions as a visual journal, capturing where I am in any given moment: mentally, emotionally, or physically. The ocean and natural world are my deepest inspirations. I am drawn to nature’s true consistency amid constant change—whether in the grace of animals, the quiet evolution of plants, landscapes, or the intricate details of a single leaf up close.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to be able to afford an art studio/gallery. And I would like to pay it forward to help other artists in need of opportunities as well. I would like to do for others what in many moments was done for me on my journey as an artist.
