I create to explore the tension between beauty and destruction. Art lets me turn chaos into something meaningful and alive.

Receive Text UpdatesI like to create bold, graphic pieces driven by undeniable color and emotional tension. My work often explores the balance between beauty and destruction, using strong silhouettes, limited palettes, and striking contrast to tell emotional stories. I’m especially drawn to the small trinkets and details collected along the way, elements that quietly reveal who a character is and what they’ve been through.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from contrast and juxtaposition. Nature and decay, childhood wonder and harsh reality, introspection and chaos. Growing up on 90s animation and retro futurism shaped my love for bold color and storytelling, but real life drives the meaning. I’m inspired by the idea that even in destruction there is beauty, and in beauty there is tension beneath the surface. Sometimes the paint itself leads. I start with a feeling or a thought and push paint until something reveals itself.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to transition into art full time and build a sustainable career. This includes creating new bodies of work, investing in materials, documenting my process through video, and growing my audience. I would also pursue larger mural opportunities and develop products that make my work more accessible. This support would give me the time and focus to fully commit and turn my art into something that reaches and impacts more people.
