What is your favorite type of art to create?

Pen on paper multi layer approach. Creating new colors and background images without too much forethought. Had to develop my own style to feel relevant. People have compared it to Kandinsky , Calder, and Picasso. Flattered beyond words from those comparisons. Just revel in making art that I love if nothing else.

Where do you find inspiration?

Started out wanting to be an architect. Lived blocks away from the arts district in Ft Worth and was fortunate to be educated at a private school where art and music were mandatory. Ended up being a professional drummer but always preferred original music. Strengths in color design and geometry come to mind. Also have been a photographger since I was 15 so editing my own pics and other art helps me to see potential in all. Freakishly inspired by my own works now and work at it every day.

What would you do with $25,000?

Spend it on expanding studio and supplies. Maybe go catch a Johnny Depp concert somewhere.
