I create art to make people feel seen—especially in the places they’ve been taught to hide.

I primarily work with acrylic paint—it’s the foundation of my art. I also create murals and explore mixed materials to add depth and texture. My work focuses on people and real-life experiences, often highlighting identity and mental health. I create pieces that help people feel seen, both on the surface and beneath it, while staying versatile in how I bring each story to life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life—people, culture, and real stories. I’m especially inspired by the parts of people that often go unseen, including emotional experiences tied to identity and mental health. I draw from history, music, and design, and use those influences to create work that feels honest, relatable, and human.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would continue painting while exploring mixed materials to add depth, texture, and dimension to my work. My goal is to create more immersive pieces that help people feel seen and understood. I would also connect with more real stories from my community, allowing the work to reflect shared experiences in a meaningful and impactful way.
