My favorite type of art is realism. Realism that tells a story one that isn’t just visible at first glance, but continues to unfold the more you engage with it. Each piece invites you to look deeper, to discover new layers, emotions, and meaning over time. My goal is to create work that not only captures your attention, but stays with you, revealing something new every time you return to it.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw much of my inspiration from my childhood. I was a quiet kid who didn’t talk much and often struggled to express my emotions, so now I use my art as that outlet. That’s where my passion for storytelling through my work comes from, I allow my art to express what I sometimes cannot.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to use $25,000 to open a space that allows me to express my art to its fullest potential while also giving back to my community. It would be a place where I can host art classes for youth and bring creative opportunities to areas where individuals may not have access to express themselves. I want to create a space where people can explore their creativity freely and find their voice through art.
