I create traditional illumination (Tazhib) and contemporary design inspired by it. My work is rooted in geometry, balance, and fine detail, where every pattern reflects patience and meaning. For me, Tazhib is not only decoration but a philosophical practice that connects discipline, beauty, and inner reflection. I aim to revive this heritage in a modern context, keeping its spirit alive while giving it a contemporary visual language.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in cultural heritage, nature, and human emotion. Traditional patterns, architectural details, and symbolic geometry deeply influence my work. I am also inspired by silence and reflection, where ideas slowly take shape. More than trends, I follow continuity between past and present, transforming memory and tradition into visual expressions that speak to identity, resilience, and artistic growth.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 in developing my artistic practice in traditional illumination. This includes professional materials, creating a strong body of work, and organizing a physical and online exhibition. I would also document the process and share it through educational content to preserve this art form. My goal is to expand its visibility, connect it with contemporary audiences, and turn my art into cultural impact.
