My stage name is Ariana Ruža, which means Ariana Rose in Serbian. I am an international shibari artist and painter who ties men for women.

I love creating shibari art and paintings that highlight male beauty through my eyes. Women are often criticized for looking at men with rose tinted glasses, but this state of perception creates such beauty, and this is the beauty I try to capture and preserve in my work. In a world that encourages me to decenter men for my own health, I put my heart at risk and allow myself to take on the challenge of pursuing this masculine beauty.
Where do you find inspiration?I take my inspiration from the love I experience in my life, and on my travels. I often travel to Japan and Serbia, and I keep my eyes and ears open for love where I can find it.
What would you do with $25,000?I want to bring the art and culture of shibari to Belgrade for the sake of beauty and enrichment. I’d like to host exhibitions, performances, and create a jewelry line from silver clay (because I can create harnesses with the clay as if it were real rope before setting it).
