The kind that touches the soul; evokes deep emotions of gratitude, vulnerability, honesty and wonder. Untampered art, that awakens curiosity and provides healing, that communicates light and love for oneself and others.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw from nature, life stories, books, and from spiritual awareness and connection to the beauty of all of creation itself. I create as a form of processing emotions, of both joy and pain. It is the complexity in nuances and the strength of the human spirit that inspires me.
What would you do with $25,000?I will take courage to speak my truth, and thereby inspire others to do the same. Through creating a website on which to share my art and producing tangible pieces to exhibit in galleries. Then travel to visit and photograph for a story book to publish, the students of Kampala Primary in Uganda, whose lives I impacted by co-creating a school library, providing all of the hundreds of books through donation. I wish to tell the story of their dreams; their perseverance and artistic expressions.
