I like noticing little moments most people walk past and capturing people, moments, streets and feelings that make life interesting
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Photography, especially street photography. I love capturing real life as it happens: people walking by, details, city streets, buildings, architecture. To me photography is a way of expression - to show how I see the world and capture the emotions I feel in a moment. It’s how I show the way I see things and try to translate the emotions I feel into something other people can feel too.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life, walking around the city, watching people, nature: small details that people don’t always notice. I like taking something simple and turning into something different, trying to transfer the emotion of that moment to someone else.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in better equipment, build a real portfolio, print my work and create opportunities to share my art with more people. I would also use part of it to travel and capture new places, different stories and cultures.
