I create art to preserve our stories, culture, pain, and hope through music, journalism, and literature for future generations.

I find inspiration in people who continue to survive with dignity despite hardship. As a Bhutanese , journalist, musician lover, and social worker, I have witnessed displacement, hunger, migration, and resilience up close. Those experiences shaped my commitment to community work. They also inspire my vision to support humanitarian efforts in Nepal through Food Bank Nepal and programs focused on feeding homeless and vulnerable people. I draw creative and personal inspiration from Nepali language
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the lives, struggles, and resilience of people who have experienced displacement, migration, and cultural change. My journey as a Bhutanese , along with years of journalism, music, and social work, has taught me to observe human emotions closely. I am also inspired by Nepali language, literature, folk culture, nature, memories of camps, and the determination of communities fighting to preserve their identity and dignity.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest $25,000 in strengthening journalism and storytelling tools, producing and archiving Bhutanese stories, and supporting cultural preservation through music and literature. I would also train young journalists and creators from displaced communities to build skills and independence. The goal is not personal luxury but expanding voice, preserving identity, and ensuring long-term impact for our community.
