My art is an expression of how to see beauty in a broken world, dusk always has a natural attraction and highlights the negative space.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love taking the trash and the items left discarded and showing the beauty of their surroundings while making them the focal point. The same gose for the people and animals that I enhance with their own natural beauty with the gross world we live in. My are is the expression of duality and the consequences of our presence.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in all that there is. I have been recovering for a TBI that I received when I was 19 and it shaped the rest of my life. Art has always come naturally but after my TBI, the darkness doesn't seem so dark and life is much more vibrant even the shadows contour the elegance of my art and life.
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly I would take care of most my debit but what I have left would go towards opening a gallery in Sun Valley, Idaho. I want to show them that the trash that they litter this beautiful valley is not forgotten and show them the damage that they have done to the area they love so much. My hope is to humanize them even if it is only slightly.
