I doodle in black pen on paper. Whatever is on my mind and in my heart. No rules and no preset direction. I go where the art takes me. More recently, I am working on my iPad.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. I sit in malls, parking lots, libraries, home alone … if there is light enough to see, I find a place to sit and draw. I watch and listen. My art is a combination of lines and words. Look at a piece and read the moment.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would launch an Open Doors Art Workshop — a welcoming space where artists of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels come together to create meaningful public art for our community. A portion of the funds would ensure that every participant walks away with a piece of the art they helped create, because everyone deserves to own something they made with their own hands. My ultimate goal is to secure a permanent space where creativity never sleeps — a place where art can happen 24/7
