Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

Surrealism is at the core of my work. I’m drawn to transforming familiar imagery into something unexpected—layering stories, symbolism, and hidden elements that reveal themselves over time. Influenced by the great masters, I approach each piece with a contemporary perspective, creating art that not only captures attention, but invites curiosity and deeper connection.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find a lot of my inspiration in what’s happening around us right now. To me, artists aren’t just creating—we’re documenting moments, emotions, and stories from our time. I’ve always been drawn to artists who layered meaning into their work, like Leonardo da Vinci, Salvador Dalí, and Michelangelo. That idea of hidden messages really stuck with me. Growing up, I spent years studying and recreating their work, and that process shaped the way I think about art today.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would pour it back into my work—into larger projects, better materials, and creating with more intention. Being the sole provider for my family with three young kids in Los Angeles, it would also give me the ability to focus more deeply on my art while supporting them. One of my goals would be to host an art show showcasing my canvas work, giving people a chance to connect with the stories and details up close.
