What is your favorite type of art to create?

I like drawing things that don’t exist in reality. But I combine those unreal things with things that do exist, and then I watch them dance.

Where do you find inspiration?

I usually get my inspiration from the dreams I see, and then other ideas suddenly come to mind. The image is already fully formed in my head—every detail—while I draw the colors instinctively. Other than that, sometimes I can even be inspired by a bird… The world is already a very fascinating place, so everything and everywhere is inspiration—if you know how to see it.

What would you do with $25,000?

My mother and father passed away at a very young age. I would donate $25,000 to animal shelters in Turkey. I was born and raised in Turkey, and now I live in Los Angeles. But my mind is still with the animals suffering in my country—they are kept in terrible conditions, beaten, and subjected to even worse things. It feels like the whole world is ignoring this reality. I would truly love to take a stand against this cruel system, even in a small way, because I love animals far more than people
