After my father’s passing, I began a healing journey through art. He was a flyfisherman. Now I create in the lens of a fisherman’s daughter.

Earth drawn landscapes, aged and timeless. Fish in abstract form- capturing their colors and movement. And a touch of cowboy, capturing my dad’s spirit as a flyfisherman. He always wore his cowboy hats on the water and hung them back up on a handmade wooden plank with an antique fly rod and hooks. He hand tied flies before his longer trips to the river, so I started creating a series of works from his collection after he passed.
Where do you find inspiration?Through old photographs and memories of my father, captured moments in nature, raw organic materials and colors, anything that represents the spirit of my dad- who he was, how he traveled and what he loved. Natures beauty and the endless wonders of earths simplicity.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest it back into my art and the journey I’m hopeful to see unveil by the story I’m telling. I’d also like to pay it forward to support my local community in the art world.
