I create art to celebrate beauty, emotion, and identity—turning imagination into visuals that inspire, empower, and tell our stories.

My favorite type of art to create is fashion illustration inspired by Black women—both standard and plus‑size—because I love capturing the beauty, confidence, and individuality expressed through clothing, curves, and silhouette. I’m especially drawn to the elegance and storytelling found in vintage portraiture, so I often blend that nostalgic aesthetic with contemporary representation. My work celebrates Black femininity, body diversity, and the artistry of style.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in vintage photographs and fashion magazines, especially the way they capture style, attitude, and moments in time. I’m also deeply inspired by bright, expressive colors and the geometry of architecture and cityscapes. Those elements influence the lines, silhouettes, and moods in my fashion illustrations and portraits, helping me blend nostalgia with modern creativity.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would strengthen the foundation of my art and fashion business. I would invest in supplies and materials, secure a dedicated creative room or a larger space to build a true studio environment, and relaunch my website so I can professionally showcase and sell my work. I would also complete the legal steps to establish my LLC, giving me the structure and stability to take on larger opportunities and grow my creative business with confidence.
