I paint to explore identity and emotion, turning inner experiences into images that invite reflection, connection, and curiosity.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m most drawn to figurative and symbolic paintings that explores emotion, identity, and the inner life. I love creating work that feels both personal and universal—images that invite viewers to pause and feel something about their own experience.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, film, music, emotion, memory, in relationships, and in thr the quiet psychological moments people often overlook. I’m also inspired by color, symbolism and the tension between vulnerability and strength. Much of my work begins with an internal question and becomes a visual way of exploring it.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to invest directly in building a sustainable art career: creating a stronger body of work, purchasing materials, upgrading studio equipment, documenting and professionally photographing my paintings, and expanding opportunities to exhibit and sell my work. It would give me the resources and breathing room to create more boldly and consistently.
