I’m most drawn to paintings that can later transform into immersive, multisensory, interactive art installations and performances that merge. These works often take the form of soft, air-inflated structures, living, breathing presences that feel both organic and otherworldly. I’m interested in how form and atmosphere can activate a space and shift perception. My practice also moves fluidly between ephemeral experiences, but the core remains the same
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from both quantum physics, neuromelanin, microbial life, and speculative futures. I’m fascinated by the invisible systems that shape. Music, rituals, and movement are constant sources of inspiration, as are scientific inquiries into consciousness.
What would you do with $25,000?I Would invest the funds in travel as a way to expand my mind and deepen the conceptual foundation of my practice. I’m particularly interested in spending time in Indonesia and regions of Africa, where cultural traditions, spiritual systems, and relationships to material and environment offer rich knowledge. Immersing myself in these contexts would allow me to engage directly with ritual, and symbolic languages that resonate with my ongoing exploration of inner energy, transforms
