I create work that regulates the nervous system and holds space for people to feel seen, heard, and supported through reflection and healing
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I'm drawn to landscape and nature photography focused on how light and environment can evoke emotion and create a sense of stillness and reflection. The intention is to create environments that feel calm, intentional, and supportive.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the meditation of nature, clouds, water, deserts, and landscapes that reflect the light at sunrise and sunset. I'm drawn to the emotional stillness and peace those moments create. Moments that feel quiet, reflective, and expansive, where people can connect with themselves.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest in spaces where people can pause, reflect, and regulate within therapeutic and professional environments. In the community many artists are navigating grievances from the loss of loved ones, abuse, and other deeply challenging life experiences. I would dedicate part of the funding to piloting a small-scale wellness-centered program that offers accessible, art-based experiences to support individuals in transition or recovery, fostering healing, expression, and community.
