I love to create art that stimulates curiosity and imagination. I do my best to allow the art to flow through me rather than to force the creation itself. I enjoy creating animals and objects that blend surrealism and abstract, with an outline of realism. I like to invoke emotions through the curvature of lines and colors used. To leave the expression open to interpretation without forcing the viewer to subscribe or follow my narrative. Although my narrative is present, it isn’t readily seen.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday things. I find the inspiration through emotions that I gather while speculating. I do not follow or mimic any artist in particular rather I create things on my own terms. The inspiration that I draw mainly comes from the deepest parts of myself and my experiences thus far. My journey in life has been arduous, because of this I have connected with parts of myself that I could only know through survival of very difficult situations. I put that essence into my art.
What would you do with $25,000?I will thoroughly and completely rewrite the script that is my current life. I will place a down payment on my first home and I will open an llc to get my art underway to be seen by others. I will secure my children’s future, and they will know security and stability through which I can expand and enrich our lives more fully.
