What is your favorite type of art to create?

Abstract paintings, my favorite is taking objects and creating new life and purpose. Thrift store finds, things in nature or free stuff. Old silverware, moss, branches and rocks as well as animal skeletons. Often broken glass found by my local river.

Where do you find inspiration?

Nature mostly, sometimes I just let my emotions guide me. It doesn’t always turn out the best but it helps me feel better, to me that’s better than a perfect piece of art.

What would you do with $25,000?

If I ever had that much money I think I’d like to first put some money aside for a small piece of land, nothing crazy just enough to call mine and live on. I would use some to help my mom find better housing, or give her a small place to live on my land. With the rest I’d use to take time off work and hike while clearing rivers and creaks of trash buildup. I’ve never had that much money and I’m not sure how far it would get me.
