I believe that everything we do in life is art, from how we speak, to how we dress, to the things we create. I pour my passion and creativity into every aspect of my life and have many mediums. Pencil and ink portraits have always been my speciality however recently Ive been experimenting with acrylic paint and celestial themes.
Where do you find inspiration?Alot of my inspiration comes from my intellectual interests. From philosophy to esotericism to religious symbolism. Shadows of the hippie era of the 60s and 70s can be seen in alot of my work and ideas as well. Alot of my ideas also stem from me dissecting my inner world and attempting to capture snapshots of what I feel in an authetic way.
What would you do with $25,000?Being a part of this competition has taught me alot about myself from how I manage my time to what fears I have about stepping into the art world for the first time officially, and I feel that these insights are worth more than any monetary prize. However, if blessed enough to win, I would use this money for the 2027 La Baldi Artist Residency by Cultivate Projects, which is a month long stay in Montegiovi, Italy.
