Creating is my soul existence. It's one thing that quiets my neuro-spicy brain & delivers peace. I love how it positively affects others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create...gosh .. I don't know that I have a favorite... card making, probably. I can incorporate so many art types into a card... watercolor, stamping, photography... Endless routes to choose. I have done theatre, and music, songwriting and prose. I have retrieved furniture from the roadside and upcycled it. I suppose no matter which type, my favorite is always going to be whatever makes me proud and brings joy to others in the process.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration mostly in the beauty of nature. From a very young age like, 6, I can remember seeing the "man in the moon" and shapes in the clouds. I am also inspired by other artists. When I see art I wonder what kind of brain created whatever it is that I love about it. I wonder what they've been through and what paths they've travel and hope I can evoke the emotions of others the way other artists evoke emotions in me.
What would you do with $25,000?I have so many ideas about what I would do with $25,000. I could start my own business. ๐ฉ๐ผ๐จ I could put a down payment on a house of my own. ๐ I could invest in my retirement. ๐๐ผโ๏ธ I could go crazy on art supplies ๐ I could pay my bills ahead for a year and remove that stress for a minute. ๐งพ I could rent a limo and gather the besties for a spa day. ๐๐ผโ๏ธ So many choices and I don't think I can exactly say until the money is in my hands ๐คท๐ผโ๏ธ
