As a Visionary Ecologist and Ayahuasca medicine woman, I create art because I view it as the truth of who I am.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Visionary & Psychedelic Intermedia Art ◊ A term coined by Fluxus in the 1960s, Intermedia art refers to creative work that blends, overlaps, or exists in the spaces between established art forms. Rather than focusing on a single medium like drawing, digital art, card sets, artucation, voice work, electronic music, documentary, or writing, my practice seeks to blend these modes of expression into one genre defying fuse. I favor process over product, integrating context & audience into the work.
Where do you find inspiration?Following a Bachelor’s in Humanities (creative writing, visual arts, philosophy, anthropology, sociology), I pursued ecological design training and became a Visionary Ecology educator for All Ages & Abilities. My most important path though has been as a traditionally trained Ayahuasqera Curandera Perfumera within the Shipibo-Conibo lineage. Since Ayahuasca isn’t accessible to most, my art translates its wisdom into grounded, accessible forms beyond psychedelics.
What would you do with $25,000?I would start a business selling my artwork, investing in the tools and advertising I need to lift off the ground and likely also create my next musical album.
