I create because sometimes motherhood is all I feel… Art reminds me I’m more than that and I’m so thankful I’m able to create on those days.

My favorite art blends surrealism with elements of nature and realism. Creating dreamlike scenes grounded in the organic world. I’m most drawn to painting and charcoal but combining them is what makes me the happiest! The contrast between soft, fluid paint and the raw texture of charcoal allows me to express emotion and depth in the ways that feel the most real to me.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration is deeply rooted in nature and childhood memories. I’m drawn to creating dreamlike scenes that reflect the magical moments I experienced growing up. I spent my childhood outdoors with my siblings, digging for bugs, tapping trees, and catching insects which shaped how I see the world. Now my cute son goes to a nature school. We grow strawberries and have a huge garden and my family’s. Being in nature just makes me feel grounded.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would use it to pay off the student loans I’ve accumulated from art school, which have been a heavy burden. Being a stay-at-home mom while my husband works full time has been challenging financially. He’s an incredible provider, but we’ve been in a tough place for the past few years, and this would bring us much-needed relief and stability! I love to create art and try to make as many commissions as possible, I couldn’t even imagine how life changing 25,000 dollars would be!
