I MUST create for HOPE. Put through a windshield by a drunk driver, I couldn't create for 10+ years. I'm just a conduit.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I live to create Traditional, Surrealistic, Dark Art; mainly, concerning portraiture, stories of strength, and other important narratives.
Where do you find inspiration?I am constantly inspired by my own existence & other's, the human condition, my observation of others, world events, entertainment, philosophy, theology, psychology, the sciences, world culture, tradition, & the unknown. Curiosity is as precious, to myself, as it is endless. Empathy, sympathy, and compassion are in short supply. As I am AuDHD, the irony between my own differences and my never-ending desire to help others focus - is not lost, on me.
What would you do with $25,000?I struggle with more than 7, chronic, physical & mental health conditions. Each, qualifies as a disability, on its own. Were I to finally experience the privilege of financial benefit, which have previously been entirely unattainable, in my 45 years, I'd address my life-threatening health issues, ensure comfort for my loved ones, find more ways to give back to my community, speak out for fellow neurodivergents, and creatives, and, maybe, allow myself a new sketchbook, or a few tubes of paint.
