“I draw to capture emotion and tell stories through faces of people—it’s where art feels most real to me.

I specialize in creating hyper-realistic portraits using charcoal pencils. I love the technical challenge of capturing the minute, intricate details of both human subjects and wildlife. For me, there is nothing quite like using intense contrasts and rich shading to turn a blank page into a lifelike representation. Charcoal allows me to achieve a level of depth and texture that makes my subjects truly breathe and come alive on the paper.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the raw, authentic details of life and the subjects around me. The subtle emotions in a person's expression or the powerful, majestic presence of animals like lions and giraffes constantly fuel my drive. I'm also deeply inspired by my growing online community. Sharing my artistic journey, engaging with a global audience, and constantly pushing my own technical boundaries with every new portrait motivates me to refine my craft every single day.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the funds into scaling my career as a professional artist. First, I'd upgrade my studio space, purchasing premium charcoal supplies, archival paper, and professional lighting. Since sharing my process is important to me, a portion would go toward upgrading my tech and camera gear to produce high-quality time-lapses and content for my audience. Finally, I would use the remaining funds to host exhibitions and workshops to share my hyper-realistic techniques with others.
