Art helps me communicate my thoughts better than words. Seeing people connect to my work brings me light and motivates me to keep creating.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Physical/digital illustrations. Within my art, I love to cram in as many coherent details and interesting characters as I can so anyone that views my art can find something new that they can appreciate. the more love I put into a piece of art the more I see people connect with it, which is why I love to take my time on every work I make.
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of inspiration through my parents as well as music. Music is a way for me to channel my thoughts without overthinking, which helps a lot because I tend to be a perfectionist. An art style I look up to is mad magazine, which I think reflects heavily in my work! I want to be the best artist I can be. There are days I am ashamed of my art, and days where I feel like my art can take me to great places. Pushing through those hard days gives me the most inspiration to keep creating.
What would you do with $25,000?Right now I’m in college, so the money could help me pay off my tuition so I could complete my degree. I would give a large sum of it to my parents because they are a big reason I work as hard as I do on my art. The rest I would put into my savings so I can use it when emergencies come up (especially my car because it always has something wrong with it!)
