I enjoy seeing my end result. It's beautiful therapy for me to positively distract myself when I remember what I survived years ago.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!

Receive Text UpdatesI create all by free hand. love working with charcoal.I love painting trees, life. It's been decades, but I was always able to look at anything/anyone and draw/paint it. My favorite pieces of art are the ones I painted for my son's and my bonus children, from their favorite anime/animals. I'm inspired by what I see in books and online and I attempt to recreate it. My older work and original artwork was unexpectedly destroyed.
Where do you find inspiration? My late grandmother whom I took care of in home hospice with me was always supportive of me and my whole family really. I've had a certain image in my head for years and it's still not to my liking at all. It's a beautiful habit to get into, to just start painting or drawing. It helped me greatly when I was in a nightmare of a relationship and it's all I had to hold to, aside from my job(was always my safe space)and raising my two sons. I love creating and love helping people. Thank you.
What would you do with $25,000?Momma needs a roof(as in me). I would have the damage parts fixed and fix my pouch that a tree took out last year. Then if able I'd pay off my smaller debt to hopefully get good credit, buy oil to fill my tank to heat my home, Pay at least five thousand to the town for property taxes. I'd also love to sign up my youngest son in MMA/ jujutsu classes for that's his dream. If by any chance I have anything left I'd love to visit my oldest son. Main focus is the house. Thank you. Good luck on all.
