Painting for the last 20 years has been my most accessible mode of creating , culinary i work in the winter as a cook in a small ski resort. I LOVE ceramics and and building clothes...I was a seamstress for many years for a company here called Melanzana.. so clothes are my side hustle.. Painting once was. I work with a Shaman who told me I was Spirit Painting , I sold many paintings at a local café for a year or so .I work with wood alot , thats how I found myself Painting cabinet doors , magic
Where do you find inspiration?I found my greatest inspiration while studying and walking the Hopi medicine wheel with a Shaman teacher, connecting to the animals and spirit of the medicine wheel. Through vision meditation and energy work i found ancient elders coming through, and a greater story line emerging through the images. One that might go back thousands of years, living in the Colorado Rockies for 30 years my inspiration largely comes from my time spent in the woods in nature, connecting with the earth and the stars
What would you do with $25,000?Building an Arts collaboration with my son who is textile focused and my best friend who is a Waldorf school craft educator together we can share our love and passion for all the Arts...Jose Argelles said Time Is Art.. we will create a space where we can all work together share our knowledge and experience with our community to create opportunities to keep the passions alive and growing expanding,while also keeping one another inspired , to the degree we can be more than starving artists .. biz
