I create to express hope and life through my work into something visible
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create digital paintings.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from personal life experience of where I could be in life at a present moment. Then I search through online and offline images for what resonates with my experience or what i can use to mold my experience at the time.
What would you do with $25,000?Being an emerging artist in Uganda, a place where art is not taken very seriously I want to use this as a stepping stone to support the vision of EAT Africa. This is an entity I have planned out to connect artists in my country with a world they cannot reach globally, it also caters for mental health programs that target youth artists and finally to steer a direction of art education. We need a voice to speak against studying stuff that isn't applicable anymore.
