With all the malice and cruelty in today's world, painting is the only way I find normalcy. If I didn't, I'd feel like a fish out of water.

I’m Benjamin Casiano, the creator of Pop Cubism. Inspired by my own injury, I paint striking one-eyed figurative works, often featuring my dog or musicians playing instruments. My art blends hard-edged geometry with deep personal meaning, turning a physical challenge into a signature aesthetic. Whether it's a soulful cellist or my faithful pup, my bold, colorful style makes the singular gaze unforgettable.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration flows from the resilience of the human spirit. I find it in the rhythmic curves of a cello, the geometry of a face, and the unwavering loyalty of my dog, Jasmine. Most profoundly, my vision is fueled by my own life—turning the permanent loss of sight in one eye into a "super ability." By blending Neo-Cubism with Pop Art, I transform my personal challenges and love for classical music into bold, one-eyed portraits that celebrate a singular, focused perspective.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I’d pay my medical bills. I'd invest in the future of Pop Cubism. I’d upgrade to a larger studio, stock up on high-quality pigments, and produce a massive series of one-eyed musicians on oversized canvases. A portion would go toward a solo exhibition in a major art hub to share my "singular perspective" with the world. I’d also donate to organizations helping those with vision loss, turning my personal injury into a bridge of support and inspiration for others.
