Telling stories, capturing moments of insight or beauty or even of moving horror are fundamental to why mere survival becomes thriving.

I do narrative art and poetry where text is concerned. My graphic art is meant more to hint rather than conclude. A lot can be told by posture, and how gazes make or fail to make or avoid or keep contact. The titles come last because it is a challenge to capture one possibility in the painting without excluding other possibilities.
Where do you find inspiration? In painting, I now begin with random strokes and sometimes I wipe my brushes on a second canvas while working on an already-proceeding piece. As soon as I see a face or sometimes a building, I have a narrative or a notion and I make it representational where it had been random and abstract. Essentially, it is a lot like divination.
What would you do with $25,000?Probably invest it in 13-week treasury bonds for a useful supplementary income.
