My artistic mission seeks connection with a disconnected world and to consistently blur the lines between improbable and impossible.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My focus is on photography and filmmaking predominantly. My subjects usually consist of characters that are often seen and not heard or characters that thrive or struggle within the margins of everyday society .
Where do you find inspiration? The purest inspiration is found in the challenged and the broken, both blessed and cursed by the delicate balance of nature.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would grow my art and cultural work by continuing to facilitate workshops for youth. Through my art, I want to exemplify with my community the power creativity has to dispel prejudices, and unite all different kinds of people through respect, unity, and cultural understanding. This money would also continue to fund my animal rights documentary work and help facilitate a continuation of creativity within my sister Ariel’s special needs community.
