Using art to illustrate my story and how I see the world as a Puerto Rican, it’s a mixture of Island Beauty and NYC concrete jungle grit .

Mixed media art is my favorite. I get to explore different ways to create my pieces using materials that aren’t meant to be mixed. I love to create beautiful pieces that provoke thought and capture the essence of life in difficult moments.
Where do you find inspiration?I come from Puerto Rico. Migrating here was a tough journey, I saw and experienced a lot hardship. I wanted to share the beauty I see in the world. My inspiration comes from grieving a life that was meant for me and all my loved ones I’ve lost along the way. I wanna make them proud and achieve what they never got a chance to. I carry our stories in creation and I’ll never stop. I want my art pieces to resonate with people from all walks of life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would get an art studio/ creative space. I curate art events to showcase alongside other talented artists. I wanted to create a home away from home for underprivileged artists to get opportunities to be seen. I started my first Gallery event with 3 pieces in 2019 having that opportunity kickstarted my career in art and I never looked back.
