Art is how I alchemize experience - turning wounds into gold, and giving shape to the stories my body remembers.

I create across disciplines: poetry, visual art, and immersive spaces. I’m most drawn to work that invites people in, where art becomes more than something to look at… it becomes something to feel. My practice is rooted in the belief that creativity is something we all carry. The work isn’t about mastery as much as it is about permission - to soften, to play, and to reconnect with the parts of ourselves that have been armoured over time.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the inner world - in memory, emotion, and the body. In the quiet moments where something surfaces and asks to be seen. In the tension between who we’ve learned to be and who we are underneath it all. I’m drawn to the process of unarmouring - of gently meeting what’s there and allowing it to take shape through art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to create intentional, immersive spaces where people feel safe enough to soften. Spaces that invite play, expression, and reflection - where creativity becomes a tool for reconnecting with oneself rather than something reserved for a select few. I believe creativity lives in everyone. Sometimes it’s just buried under expectation, pressure, or protection. My work is about creating environments where that part can come back online- quietly, safely, and on its own terms.
