Art saved my life. My father committed suicide when I was a baby and it has taken a toll on me. Art gives me a way to let my emotions out.

I primary paint with acrylic on canvas or wood. This gives me a way to create art in ways that can only be done with a brush/ brush strokes. I love the way a person can create their own, unique colors with paints as well. I also like to sketch with charcoal and colored pencils. This gives me a way to either plan out a painting, or just let out some emotions in ways I wouldn't be able to with paints. I like to create simple, emotional pieces that a person can look at and instantly feel something.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everything this world has to offer. It can be as simple as a song that gives me a feeling I can turn into color, or as deep as creating an entire piece from a specific memory or story. I am inspired by artists, old and new, that create a style that is completely unique from anything else see before. I like to take colors from nature and blend them into a more chaotic/ emotional image. I am also inspired by spiritual connections, Light and Dark.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to receive $25,000 I would like to start a free, community center where anyone can come and have a space to create art for free. I would like all supplies to be available to anyone as well. I think art can come from those struggling the most. Not everyone can afford the tools it takes to release emotions through art. This will also give those who want to learn a place to ask questions and receive pointers for free as well.
