I create art that makes my audience feel intrigued through curiosity, anemoia, and/or disgust, pushing boundaries of what “proper” art is

If I had to pick specific mediums, it would be photography and painting. Painting has always been my go to art form and never would I have realized that I also crave being a lens-based artist until I picked up a camera about a little over a year ago. Yet I still crave tradition and physical media as I now tend to alternate between digital photography and film photography, leaning closer to film recently.
Where do you find inspiration?I tend to be inspired by a variety of things: horror movies, my ancestral background, or even my fellow classmates. Over the years, I have learned that when creating art, it doesn’t have to be a singular theme or follow one path, it can be an expression that represents what your feelings and passions are at the moment or a way to process your emotions on certain subjects.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000, I would use a good part of it to pay off my schooling since I am currently a year away from receiving my Bachelors in Fine Arts. Then I would save the rest and work to build it up so I have some extra money to support me while I either attend artist residencies or put it towards my dream business of creating a photo studio and local gallery space for my community.
