Art is my way of navigating the mysteries of existence—a restless search for truth through constant experimentation and a devotion to beauty
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
For the longest time I have been painting mostly figurative works until I forced myself to try abstraction. Now abstract painting is mostly what I focus on, large and small scale, hopefully finding a path that can lead to bring these two together, representing the human state of being that is a mystery to all of us.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from all over, music, other artists, art history, design and emotion.
What would you do with $25,000?An award of $25,000 would be transformative, allowing me to outsource demanding home responsibilities and reclaim the mental space needed for my practice. While I currently create during nights and weekends, it’s never enough to satisfy a creative drive that has been building for over 30 years. This support wouldn't just fund materials—it would buy me the dedicated time to finally let my work breathe and my soul sing, turning a hectic schedule into a focused season of innovation.
