It matters.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am attracted to work that is original and of high technical quality, particularly when it challenges conventions. I enjoy the process of refining an idea until it can stand on its own, without requiring explanation or promotion to convey its value. For me, the primary focus should be on the work itself; everything else follows afterward.
Where do you find inspiration?Mostly in observation and process. Small details, light, structure, and the discipline of refining ideas over time. I don’t really wait for inspiration—I stay engaged with the work and let attention do most of the heavy lifting.
What would you do with $25,000?I’m not approaching this as a financial goal. For me, the focus is on getting the work seen and continuing to build a stronger body of work. If support comes through something like this, it would go directly back into creating more and pushing the work further, with fewer limitations.
