I love creating art because it lets me express emotions, tell stories, and connect deeply with people beyond words.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create blends realism and abstraction. I enjoy capturing human emotion and storytelling through portraits while integrating expressive colors, textures, and movement. This approach allows me to explore both technical precision and creative freedom, creating pieces that connect deeply with viewers and reflect cultural identity, personal experience, and imagination.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life, human experiences, and my cultural background. The people I meet, their emotions, and their stories often guide my work. I am also inspired by nature, movement, and urban environments, especially places like Malden where diverse cultures come together. Music, memories, and personal experiences influence my creativity, allowing me to create art that feels authentic, expressive, and meaningful.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would invest in expanding my art practice and business by upgrading equipment, securing a dedicated studio space, and funding large-scale projects such as murals and public installations. I would also allocate resources toward community art programs, workshops, and collaborations that support and inspire emerging artists, while increasing access to art within my local community.
