Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do is PLAY. My imagination has carried me so far in this lifetime. I was severely abused as a child so I never got to play. When life got unbearable I would imagine new worlds and create a new home in my mind. Painting has allowed my inner child to alchemize all that pain I carried for so long. My resilience and ability to still love and savor life is fascinating. Experiences and lessons are my inspiration. There’s beauty even in pain.

I lost everything in a MAJOR house fire in January & I just started painting. I spent my last at five below and never looked back. To see how I’ve evolved as an artist brings tears to my eyes. Forever grateful. I’ve been carrying the weight of being a light for others while raising my son in uncertainty. There are days I don’t know how we will make it, but I keep creating anyway. This wouldn’t just change my life—it would give us a foundation, a way out of the ashes, and a real chance at life.
