Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

Contemporary realist paintings inspired by the environment around me. I’m drawn to the space between nostalgia and the present moment, where weathered structures, woodland paths, and neighborhoods feel poised between a sense of ache and quiet hope. In these familiar places, I see reflections of the stories God is writing in and around us. These paintings invite viewers into reflection, stillness, and deeper connection with themselves.

Where do you find inspiration?

I’m drawn to quiet, in-between places that seem to hold more than they reveal; places layered with what has come before reminding us of our own stories, struggles, and hopes. Faith, memory, and the weight of ordinary days all find their way into my paintings as I listen for what the Lord might be saying in that moment. He reveals Himself to me in these quiet places. As I’m invited to exhibit my work at more shows across the country, this funding would help me purchase a cargo van to safely transport my paintings to these events. It would also give me the freedom, along with the sale of my work, to give more generously to ministries close to my heart supporting those in need around the world as an expression of faith and gratitude.
