Buddy Ebsen famously said, "A Day without art is a day wasted". My lifelong mantra.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am a painter working in both oil and watercolor. I explore a variety of styles and subjects in my work. I get equal joy from capturing the beauty of nature, the human figure, abstractions, imaginative worlds or combining them all with an eye for the surreal. Every day brings new inspiration and hopefully new ideas.
Where do you find inspiration?Ordinary wonders. My yard, local parks, national parks, my friends and our music scene. I decided early on to make art as often as possible, so that when inspiration hits, I'm ready to run with it. As Picasso once said, inspiration must find you working.
What would you do with $25,000?Get more supplies and keep on making art. Finance exhibits.
