Creating art is an outlet of opinion, curiosity and and pent up emotion that otherwise would internally destroy me and my mental peace.

My favorite form of art to create is writing—it’s where I feel most honest and unfiltered. Through words, I explore emotion, question perspective, and give shape to thoughts that don’t always fit neatly elsewhere. It’s both an outlet and a mirror. I also draw occasionally, which offers a quieter, more visual, instinctive form of expression. Together, writing and drawing let me create with both intention and freedom.
Where do you find inspiration?draw inspiration from life as it unfolds—my own experiences, meaningful conversations, and the quiet moments in between. I listen closely to both loved ones and strangers, finding truth in what’s said and unsaid. The emotions people carry—joy, pain, growth—shape what I create. For me, inspiration lives in connection, observation, and the shared human experience.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were awarded $25,000, I would invest in creating a creative hub where people can gather, collaborate, and express themselves under one roof. For the past two years, I’ve hosted local open mics, building spaces where voices are heard and creativity thrives. This would expand that vision into a lasting space that brings art, connection, and community together.
