Art was my escape, my early love language. I couldn’t say what I felt, so I sketched it and hoped they understood.

My practice is rooted in realism, but what drives me is the pursuit of depth work that carries meaning beneath the surface. Painting is where I feel most fluent, translating experience into form and color. I’m currently studying art at Louisiana Tech University, and the journey has been energizing; every project pulls me further into the craft.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by the quick, emotional thoughts that pass through my mind and the small details in the world that most people overlook. When life gets intense, I catch myself asking, “How would this look as a painting?” I draw energy from classmates, teachers, galleries, and old objects with stories hidden in antique shops
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly I would start by buying a decent vehicle. LOL. My truck broke down last week actually and I used the rest of my money on a car thats also falling apart haha. Barely getting through my first year of college. But I am beyond blessed to be where I am. 20 months sober & have worked at a rehab going on 8 months. Besides a car, I would save money back for rent. & maybe budget a little on spoiling myself for once.
