I enjoy creating art that captures experiences & feelings that leave space for each viewer to find their own meaning and connection to it.

My favorite work to create is large-scale mixed media paintings on canvas. I’m drawn to life-size and oversized abstract, folk-inspired Western pieces, often centered around cowboy imagery, that tell stories rooted in my own experiences and emotions. At the same time, I aim to leave space for interpretation, allowing each viewer to connect with the work in a personal way and find their own meaning within it.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through travel and adventures and art and relationships. I love to fly fish and spend a great deal of time in the back country out west and have always been drawn to that scenery. I love and collect art as well that no doubt is a huge inspiration to my imagination and creative process. Many pieces are also inspired by specific personal relationships from present or past.
What would you do with $25,000?Make a gift to my son’s schools art program. The coolest opportunity that exists here would be to see my work in print!
