Creating artwork in the Macabre is undoubtedly my favorite type of artwork to create. I find that it lends itself to a preferable middle ground for more surrealist imagery that can conveying strong emotions and intent. Though in my journey to convey these intense emotions deems more maximalist results, I hope to one day evoke something immense likeness of Rothko or Goya.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration tends to lend itself in abundance within my dreams, only second to emotions stirred by some of my favorite songs and movies. A lot of the time when things seem a bit blurred, I seek guidance in artist such as Francis Bacon, Masahiro Ito, David Lynch & William Bouguereau
What would you do with $25,000?I would continue to peruse my artistic ambitions, that being creation and indulging in other creations. For as long as I can remember, the only thing that's ever made sense to me is art. In making and experiencing it, in talking with others about it. Movies, music, physical and digital art. Sustaining and surrounding myself in art has and will always be my ultimate goal.
