Abstract art. My very favorite type of abstract art is using oil paint and adding metallic flakes to layers. Bright colors and matallic makes the art come alive. I love love love bright colors and the pop of metallics. Its such a blast to add in characters, flowers, scenery, feathers, and whatever else comes out of me. My very favorite part is letting the painting create itself. Im just a catalyst along for the ride.
Where do you find inspiration?I grew up in the Black Hills of SD. Most of my inspiration is influenced by Western culture and Sioux Indian culture. My love for Biker culture, the Sturgis biker rally, Harleys, Cowboys, Cows, Horses, Cowgirls, and Lakota culture, and how they dress. I am West River. I am inspired by the Black Hills and Wyoming.
What would you do with $25,000?I believe it is our responsibility to take care of all animals. I have a big ol soft heart and soft spot for animals in need of care and help. I would donate a portion to my local animal rescue. I would use the remainder to buy art supplies, and use the money to help me get my art out in front of more people. Buy myself and friends some 🌮 tacos.
