Honestly at 47 I am creating anything my mind can think of. I have waited my whole life to do what made me happy. I thought and was told you have to be "educated" in order to create and well thats the craziest shiz i have ever heard.. You just have to take your crayons back and let your mind and hands bring to life whatever it is you can dream and imagine. To be totally honest I think art creates itself and we just become the portals when we free oursleves to express our feelings And visions.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my life. My childhood trauma. In my fears, in my anger. I find inspiration in my joys and healing. In the way the earth shows her delicate details in nature and the universes beauty in evolving. In music and in greif, in the places of my mind that i crept to in order to survive. In heartbreak and love. In soul ties and choas. I find inspiration in the light that brought me out of the darkness.
What would you do with $25,000?I actually dont know.... it seems so wild to think of. I would most likely buy more art supplies, because i love to give my art away. I wpuld also love to use the money to pay gorward to help other women old and young alike to find thier freedom of restrictions and expectations thru creative release and have a space that was safe to feel, create and fknd their own voice.
